I work in accordance with the professional and ethical standards of the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) and the British Association of Art Therapists (BAAT).
I am an HCPC- and BAAT-registered Art Psychotherapist with an MA in Art Psychotherapy from the University of Derby. I was drawn to this profession through my belief that art can help us express feelings and experiences that may be difficult to put into words.
Clay played a particularly meaningful role in my own creative journey. Its tactile and grounding qualities helped me appreciate how working with art materials can support exploration, expression and emotional connection.
I have clinical experience in acute psychiatric and educational settings, working with children, young people and adults with a wide range of emotional and mental health needs. I offer both individual and group art psychotherapy.
My approach is person-centred, relational and trauma-informed. I aim to provide a warm, safe and non-judgemental space where each person feels respected, understood and accepted. I am committed to culturally sensitive, inclusive and neurodiversity-affirming practice.
